Our Goals for Water Quality
- Encourage stream bank clean-up activities
- For the next four years increase buffers to 100% on both sides of Clifty Creek.
- Promote additional buffers for all county watercourses.
- Seek funding sources for water sampling and volunteer opportunities.
- Educate rural landowners about the importance of nutrient and pest management practices to both water quality and economics.
- Promote fencing of livestock out of the watercourses and forests through the promotion of the USDA EQIP program.
